Last week, Imagine Eyes held the first edition of the rtx1 users’ e-symposium. Clinicians, researchers and ophthalmic photographers involved in using the rtx1 camera shared their expertise on adaptive optics retinal imaging.
Prof. Micheal Larsen from University of Copenhagen, and Prof. Quan Dong Nguyen from Stanford University chaired two scientific sessions. Presentations of ongoing clinical and animal investigations covered various health conditions, from inherited retinal diseases through multiple sclerosis to hypertension.
In addition, Prof. Kiyoko Gocho from Quinze Vingt National Hospital challenged the audience with an interactive quizz about AO imaging, and Imagine Eyes presented new developments.
We are grateful to the chairmen and to all the speakers for their precious contributions, as well as to the audience for their participation. Many thanks for making this first edition a success !
