Cellular phenotyping of IRDs with adaptive optics

Ophthalmologists have used the rtx1 adaptive optics retinal camera to investigate 14 different types of inherited retinal diseases (IRDs). They reported their findings in 37 publications.

For the first time, a review of these results was presented last month at the i2Eye 2020 meeting.

Available as both a written summary and a video presentation, it describes the contributions of adaptive optics imaging studies to the phenotyping, cellular quantification, and progression monitoring of IRDs.
