New Review Article on Retinal Vascular Remodeling Assessed with RTX1

In a recently published review article, a team of ophthalmologists and cardiologists reviewed studies that analyzed microstructural changes in retinal arterioles using the RTX1 adaptive optics retinal camera, which enables arteriolar measurements with micrometer precision. The article provides a useful overview of the current evidence on the early detection of retinal vascular remodeling and its implications for various conditions – including arterial hypertension and diabetes – and its potential for cardiovascular risk prediction.
