On July 2, 2026, 90 clinicians, researchers, and AI developers gathered at Erasmus MC in Rotterdam and online for the AO-VISION Symposium — a shared vision for AO retinal imaging. Twelve speakers presented their research using the rtx1 AO retinal camera, followed by two panel discussions on cellular and microvascular biomarkers, covering conditions ranging from inherited retinal dystrophies (retinitis pigmentosa, Usher syndrome) to macular hole, glaucoma, diabetes, arterial hypertension, and multiple sclerosis.
