AO-VISION Symposium
We are pleased to announce the AO-VISION Symposium: A Shared Vision for AO Retinal Imaging. The symposium will take place on July 2, 2026, from 11:00 to 17:00 CEST at Erasmus MC in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, as well as online.
This one-day, hybrid symposium will bring together researchers, clinicians, and innovators advancing medical research and therapy development using adaptive optics (AO) retinal imaging. Expect engaging talks, open discussions, and opportunities to connect with the AO imaging community.
Organizers
- Danilo Andrade de Jesus, Erasmus MC & Rotterdam Eye Hospital
- Marine Durand, Imagine Eyes
Symposium highlights
The program will cover the development and use of ultra-sensitive AO biomarkers from RTX1™ AO images, the promotion of open innovation through AI analytics accessible to every AO camera user, and the benefits of adaptive optics beyond photoreceptor imaging. A roundtable on standardizing AO imaging protocols and analyzes will encourage shared practices. The meeting will conclude with a collective reflection on forming a consensus group for AO imaging to strengthen collaboration within the field.
