ARVO SIG: Adaptive optics retinal imaging: emerging applications & expected benefits

During the ARVO annual meeting in Seattle, Pr. Alain Gaudric and Nagisha Yoshimura organized a Special Interest Group (SIG) entitled “Adaptive optics retinal imaging: emerging applications and expected benefits.”

rtx1 users present clinical results at the 2013 JOS Nichigan meeting

Users of the rtx1 Adaptive Optics Retinal Camera presented 5 lectures and posters at the 116th annual meeting “Nichigan” of the Japanese Ophthalmological Society (JOS) in Tokyo from April 4-8. Ophthalmologists from the Nippon Medical School, the University of Tokyo, the Tokyo Jikei University and the University of Toyama showed new clinical data generated using the rtx1 and discussed the applications of cellular-resolution retinal imaging.

Imagine Eyes and Vital Corporation provided demonstrations of the rtx1* Adaptive Optics Retinal Camera at the 116th annual meeting “Nichigan” of the Japanese Ophthalmoloy Society (JOS) that was held at the Tokyo International Forum.

Smith Healthcare exhibited Imagine Eyes’ rtx1 Adaptive Optics Retinal Camera at the 11th Scientific-practical conference "Modern technologies to treat vitro-retinal diseases 2013" in Moscow on March 21-22, 2013. ReVeal receives 285k€ in funding from France’s ANR

ReVeal is a two year project that will lead to significant advances for imaging retinal vessels in cases of systemic diseases such as arterial hypertension and diabetes.
