First implementation of rtx1 in psychiatric research

Feb 16th, 2016. An rtx1 Adaptive Optics Retinal Camera was for the first time implemented for use in psychiatric research at the “La Timone” Hospital in Marseille, France. The rtx1 unit was installed by Imagine Eyes’ partner PEMOA-Optitec at the hospital’s ophthalmology department led by Professor Louis Hoffart.  The system is now used in a 6-month study carried out by Dr. Matonti on “multimodal imaging analysis in a population suffering from psychiatric troubles including schizophrenia”.
