Mark Zacharria - Director of Marketing Communication

Originally from New York, Mark began his career at some of the cities top advertising agencies before joining Pacific Telesis Group in San Francisco as project manager during the spin-off of their cellular operations.  He was recruited by Dormeus & Company (OMNICOM) where he was rapidly promoted to creative director responsible for institutional communications for several prestigious industry leaders.  Since his arrival in France in 1997, he has served as VP Marketing for several French-American companies, and co-founded Elucido Partners in 2003 to put the expertise he gained during his career to work for small and mid-sized companies.  Mark is currently serving a 3-year term on ARVO's (Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology) Exhibits Committee. He shares his time between Imagine Eyes and Elucido Partners.

Laurent graduated from the IFIPS, the Optoelectronics school at the University Paris XI, and continued for a Master's degree at the prestigious Ecole Supérieure de l’Optique where he finished third in his class.  Afterwards, Laurent went on obtain a PhD in optics and photonics under the direction of  Pr. Claude Boccara at the Optics Lab at Paris’ renowned ESPCI (Ecole Supérieure de Physique et Chimie Industrielles) where he wrote his dissertation on biological (full-field OCT) and industrial (topography of microelectronic components) imaging techniques.  Laurent joined Imagine Eyes full-time after working with the Company part-time during his post-doctoral studies at the Observatoire de Paris (Paris Observatory) where he focused on retinal imaging using OCT enhanced with adaptive optics.

Clément Viard - Program Manager, Retinal Imaging

Clément came to Imagine Eyes directly from Carl Zeiss Meditec in California where he was Program Manager responsible for CIRRUS HD-OCT.   His extensive experience in developing innovative medical imaging products and leading cross-functional teams makes him an ideal addition to the Imagine Eyes team. His work as optical engineer and then program manager contributed to taking spectral domain OCT, one of the most successful ophthalmic diagnostic technologies on the market, from prototype through to commercialization.  Clément has an MS (Diplome d’Ingenieur) in Physics and Optics from Ecole Central Marseille and completed a very selective leadership and management program from Carl Zeiss Ag.

Barbara Lamory - Project Manager, Retinal Camera

Barbara originally started with Imagine Eyes while she was completing her Master’s degree in data engineering for medical research and biotechnologies at Paris’ prestigious Ecole Centrale.  After completing her degree, she spent 2 years at SAGEM Defense Security where she focused on developing various night-vision systems.  Barbara returned to Imagine Eyes in 2007 to head-up the development of the company’s adaptive-optics based retinal camera.  After managing the deployment of the first prototypes and managing relations with the initial INOVEO clinical investigation sites, today Barbara continues to work in close collaboration with our partners to continue improving the device.  Barbara equally holds and a graduate degree in optics from the Ecole Supérieure d’Optique (SupOptique),
