During the event, held this year in Herklon Greece, Imagine Eyes presented the AOKit – eye to attendees, and team member Laurent Vabre presented results from our collaboration with Doctors Ron Krueger and Karolin Maia Rocha at the Cleveland Clinic’s Cole Eye Institute on the effects of higher order aberrations on depth of focus using the crx1 Adaptive Optics Visual Simulator.  Click here to see the entire program.

Imagine Eyes would like to thank everyone that visited our stand at the annual meeting of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.  The event was a great success for us and we truly enjoyed providing visitors with demonstrations of our all-new plug-n-play adaptive optics system as well our irx3 Wavefront Aberrometer and crx1 Adaptive Optics Visual Simulator.  During the meeting, Imagine Eyes' products were at the heart of over 15 presentations and posters.  We look forward to seeing you next year.

mirao's performance compared with other commercial deformable mirrors

During the annual Photonics West tradeshow in San Jose, Dr. Nicholas Devaney (Applied Optics Group, Department of Experimental Physics, National University of Ireland, Galway) presented "Characterisation of MEMs mirrors for use in atmospheric and ocular wavefront correction" that showcased the work he and his team had performed to characterize various deformable mirrors and their suitability for these applications.  Our mirao 52-d performed admirably.

Extract from the article "There is probably not a refractive surgeon on the planet who hasn’t dealt with this scenario: A post-LASIK patient with 20/20 uncorrected visual acuity, minimal higher-order aberrations (HOAs) and a normal corneal topography map.
